Worst Cars of the Year

It's NOT a good day for the people at Chrysler. "Forbes" just put out its
fourth annual list of the WORST cars of the year . . . and Chrysler
manufactures every single car in the top FIVE.

The rankings are based on four main factors: The number of recalls . . .
"Consumer Reports" reliability rankings . . . deprecation . . . and crash
test ratings. Other factors, like cost and fuel efficiency, are a smaller
part of the rankings.

The five worst cars of the year are, in order: Chrysler Sebring, Dodge
Nitro, Jeep Liberty, Dodge Caliber and Dodge Magnum. Chrysler, Dodge and
Jeep are Chrysler's three brands.
The Sebring finished as the worst car mostly because of SIX recalls this
year . . . from things like malfunctioning airbags and poor engine cooling.

Overall, eight of the 10 worst cars are American made.
After those five Chrysler-made cars, the rest of the list, in order, goes:
Ford Crown Victoria, Chevrolet Aveo, Nissan Quest, Hyundai Entourage and
Pontiac Grand Prix.
