Geek: Monday, January 26, 2009 As we already know, Stephen Chow stepped down as director of The Green Hornet back in December due to "creative differences," which was the first sign that something was amiss. Although it's not confirmed, it sounds like Seth Rogens The Green Hornet will get canned all together. Apparently Imagi Animation Studios is running out of money and may be temporarily shutting down operations.. Imagi, is the animation company behind 2007's TMNT as well as the upcoming Astro Boy…which means it might be delayed if production stops for too long. Charlies Angels 3 rumours are circulating Here’s what Jonah Nolan Co-screenwriter of the Dark Knight say’s about the Oscar snub: I, like you, was disappointed that Chris didn't get some recognition this morning, but for Heath and so many of the people who worked so hard on this thing to get nominated is thrilling. Any nominations for a comic book movie is a thing of 0beauty no matter how you slice it, and that takes the sting out a bit. Besides, I've been to the big show before, and, like any of these things, it's a little disappointing. Did you know it's not even an open bar once the show starts? At least this time I would have remembered to bring a little cash so I could buy myself a drink after losing. The Movie Stars Thomas Jane, John Malkovich, and Ron Pearlman The Latest on the Wolverine movie: I’m hearing that they're reshooting a little less than half of the film, which is a lot! My Sources are now claiming that most of what they're currently shooting or re-shooting involves Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool along with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Warner Brothers developing Tom and Jerry for the screen. meh* Tom Arnold is reportedly trying to lure Arnold Schwarzenegger into making a True Lies sequel. A few words to the Academy on their failure to Nominate Dark Knight For Best Pic: -Here is a sure fire way to get people to watch your long boring ass show. -You seem out of touch with the rest of the planet. - It makes Heath Ledgers nomination seem like a token nod.

Here’s what Robots are up to…..
Tiny robots so small they can be injected into the bloodstream could soon be used to help carry out surgical procedures. Scientists have created micro-motors -- just twice the width of a human hair -- which will power tiny robots around the body of stroke victims. Doctors will be able to control the robot gaining a unique view of things like a stroke-damaged cranial artery via a camera mounted to the front.

Tom Cruise says he's interested in turning last week's Hudson River plane crash into a movie. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Cruise said that he's considering adapting the incident for film. Cruise, who earned his private pilot's license in 1994, praised the pilot for doing a "heroic" job, saying: "I know what it's like, because we train for emergencies and then for it to happen and to have it turn out the way it did -- that's how we want them all to end."
