Megan Fox has signed on to star in Jonah Hex alongside of Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in Warner Brothers' adaptation of the DC Comics series. But that's not her only comic book movie role! Fox has also signed on to star and develop a feature adaptation of Fathom about an aquatic heroine.
Tom Selleck has reportedly revealed that he wants to land the lead role in the movie adaptation of his TV show Magnum P.I. Tom says he's eager to reprise the character on the big screen, despite studio bosses failing to offer him the part. "They haven't called, they haven't written. I keep hearing they're developing one but I don't know whether I'm going to be in it." Last year, Matthew McConaughey confirmed that he had been offered the lead role.
LEONARDO DICAPRIO wins the CHRISTOPHER NOLAN sweepstakes. He'll star in a sci-fi action flick called "Inception" . . . which will be Nolan's first movie since he wrote and directed "The Dark Knight".
Alton Towers, a theme park in England, is now offering something called YourDay -- a chance to have your whole day at the park captured on video. When you arrive at Alton Towers you visit the YourDay counter and get a wristband containing a radio frequency chip, which will identify your footage on all the big rides and as you walk around the park. As your rides move along tracks, they pass sensors which tell a video camera just ahead to capture you on film as you pass by. On high speed rides, the video cameras use super slow motion to capture your footage. At the end of the day you bring your wristband and receive a DVD to take home.
