There WILL be a "Ghostbusters 3". And the good news is, all the "core players" from the first two movies are coming back . . . and that definitely includes BILL MURRAY. HAROLD RAMIS . . . who co-wrote the first two movies and played Ghostbuster Egon Spengler . . . said the older guys will actually be MENTORS to some new, young Ghostbusters. Judd Apatow will produce.
The remake of the 1984 classic Karate Kid with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan will be Called the Kung Fu Kid .
My sources are reporting that Sacha Baron Cohen’s (Borat) new movie Bruno, or more accurately titled Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male, has been slapped with an NC-17 rating by the MPAA on its first pass.
Scientists are closing in on a technology that would convert flowing blood into energy that could charge personal electronic devices. They say tiny zinc-oxide nanowires are able to produce an electrical current when subjected to low-frequency vibrations. These nanowires can be grown on most surfaces, including clothing, and the friction from pumping blood, body movements, or a gentle breeze would be enough to get them generating a significant amount of power.

Sean Penn is set to play Larry -- and negotiations are underway with Jim Carrey to play Curly -- in a big screen movie about the Three Stooges. For his role as Jerome "Curly" Howard Jim Carrey will be packing on about 40 pounds. MGM is zeroing in on Benicio Del Toro to play Moe.
During a British Q&A with writer Simon Beaufoy at the Bradford International Film Festival, Beaufoy mentioned that he's been hired to write Wolverine 2 and encouraged by his agent to take the job, even though he didn't even know who Wolverine was. Who is Simon Beaufoy? He’s the guy behind a little movie called Slumdog Millionaire. Wolverine Origins in Theaters may 1

Happy Hump Day…and that has nothing to do with Humpty Dumpty.
Poor Melanie and her IV tube. It’s sad to see her with a needle stuck in her arm, but at least she’s managed to keep her spirits up. Thank you Tequila!!! (That message was not endorsed my Melanie…even though she likes her the Tequila.)
Because I work at Flow I’m not eligible to win a $1000 bailout. Boo…but you can win, and this morning you did. The Flow bailout could happen at any time, and if you want a heads up on when it will happen just visit flow935.com and become a Flow Member.
No more Battlestar Galactica talk…if you’re like JJ that is truly sad news. If you’re like Melanie you’re as happy as a pig in poop.

We’ve posted a fun little video mocking Cloverfield featuring the Monsters vs Aliens characters.
If you know Michel Gondry and his low budget style of film making you may have some concerns about Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet which he is directing….fear not. Seth says, "He’s approached him with ideas like maybe we could do something like this… you could do some of your weird people made out of string stuff. He's like, 'No, I don't want to any of that. The fact that you think I want to do that drives me crazy and makes me never want to do anything like that again.' He hates being predictable and repetitive and doing what's been done before. As soon as he starts to feel like he's expected to do something he doesn't want to do it at all."
Just last week, SYLVESTER STALLONE announced that he'd cast 50 CENT to replace FOREST WHITAKER in his movie, "The Expendables". Well, that isn't happening anymore . . . because Fiddy had to pass on the role. Terry Crews of Everybody hate Chris is in.
An unusual disguise has helped a Bangkok fireman rescue an eight-year-old boy who had climbed on to a third-floor window ledge. The firefighter dressed up as Spider-Man in order to coax the boy, who is autistic, from his dangerous perch. Teachers had alerted the fire department after the boy began crying and climbed out of a classroom window. It was reportedly his first day at the special needs school. A remark by his mother about his passion for comic book superheroes prompted a fireman to rush back to the station, where he kept a Spider-Man costume in his locker.

The Official first trailer for Where the Wild Things Are isn’t out till later this week, so… not yet. We’ve posted the first official pictures of the movie adaptation on the classic Maurice Sendak childrens book.
Last June, the big twist ending of Terminator Salvation was leaked online (we, appropriately, never reported on it). Thankfully this was early enough into the production, that apparently McG and company completely changed the ending after that point. My source reports that an insider of Warner Brothers has seen the film and tells them that the end was changed and is nothing like what was leaked.
My sources confirmed yesterday that Joel and Ethan Coen are developing their version of True Grit, the iconic western that won John Wayne an Oscar, as their next project. The Coen's version will be less of a remake and more of a re-adaptation
Jeri Ryan aka 7 of 9 is going back before the bar for a guest role on Law & Order: SVU., will play a lawyer on SVU for three episodes, starting Tuesday, April 7.
Jennifer Aniston may not get a chance to be the next Bond girl as I reported last week, if Angelina Jolie and the producers of the next 007 film have their way. Apparently producers want Jolie in the movie and possibly in a recurring role alongside Daniel Craig.
For about the price of a really nice laptop computer, you can now get an actual car which seats four adults and has been described by Autoweek magazine as "surprisingly comfortable." The Tata Nano, which was unveiled yesterday, retails at $1,979, though for the time being it's only available in India.. Apparently the tiny vehicle, which is held together with plastic adhesives, will need to undergo a redesign before landing in North America.

Something fishy is going on in northern Spain. The waters of the port of Gijon are shortly to be invaded – by robots. Scientists are building a shoal of robot fish to be let loose in the port to check on the quality of the water. Modelled on carp and costing about ($29,000) each to make, the fish are to be lifelike in appearance and swimming behaviour so they will not alarm their fellow marine inhabitants.
Two U.S. astronauts ventured outside the International Space Station yesterday on a six-hour spacewalk to install a 31,000-pound girder with solar wings, completing the final piece of the complex's structural backbone.

Sources say Tom Cruise is talking about a fourth Mission: Impossible movie. The source says Cruise is "working on the story right now" and that he's been "thinking about how to stage a big action sequence in downtown Tokyo."
“Ain’t it Cool” is reporting that Forest Whitaker has dropped out of Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables due to a scheduling conflict. So who has Sly found to replace him? None other than Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent. Anyone who has seen Get Rich or Die Tryin' or Home of the Brave or Righteous Kill knows that 50 Cent is probably the worst actor ever!
FREDDIE PRINZE JR. has been cast in an NBC comedy pilot called "No Heroics". It's about four MEDIOCRE superheroes . . . who are secretly living amongst us.
CBS and www.NCAA.com have not only increased their bandwiths for this week's tourney games, they've also installed a 'Boss' button, which allows employees to watch March Madness at work. Press it, and the audio feed turns off while a fake Microsoft spreadsheet pops up on the screen. The FBI estimates that $2.5 billion will be wagered on this year's NCAA basketball tournament. Only 4 percent of those bets will be wagered legally in Nevada. Last year, the "Boss Button"recorded more than 2.5 million clicks.
Strange shapes have been photographed hovering over London leading to speculation they could be UFOs. Derek Burdon was shocked by what he saw after he took a scenic pictures of the UK capital then noticed four flying saucers on the far right of the picture. Although invisible to the naked eye, the shapes can be clearly seen on the picture. In February video footage of a UFO hovering above the British coastline was captured by vacationers.
