MTV has churned out its list of 2007's Top 10 Musicians-Turned-Actors.
#1.) COMMON . . . ("Smokin' Aces", "American Gangster") (--Plus, he has several films coming out next year. He'll be in a crime drama with KEANU REEVES called "The Night Watchman" and that ANGELINA JOLIE movie "Wanted".)

#2.) GLEN HANSARD . . . ("Once") (--If you haven't heard of him . . . he's the singer for an Irish indie rock band called The Frames. The movie only had a limited release earlier this year, but the DVD comes out on December 18th.)

#3.) TOM WAITS . . . ("Wristcutters: A Love Story") (--Of course we all know that Tom's greatest role was Dr. A Heller, inventor of non-lethal weaponry in the unsung classic, "Mystery Men".) (???)

#4.) CHRIS BROWN . . . ("This Christmas", "Stomp the Yard")

#5.) JILL SCOTT . . . (TYLER PERRY'S "Why Did I Get Married?")

#6.) KEITH RICHARDS . . . ("Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End") (--As you probably know, Keith made a cameo as the father of JOHNNY DEPP'S Jack Sparrow character . . . which Johnny has said he originally based off Keith.)

#7.) JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE . . . ("Alpha Dog", "Black Snake Moan", "Shrek the Third", "Southland Tales") (--Aside from "Shrek", Justin has been doing a lot of underground movies. "Southland Tales" opened last month in limited release.)

#8.) ALICIA KEYS . . . ("Smokin' Aces", "The Nanny Diaries")

#9.) JACK WHITE . . . ("Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story") (--The movie doesn't hit theaters until December 21st, so I'd like to know how he got on this list. He plays ELVIS in the movie.)
