Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game movie has been scrapped…and so has the movie adaptation of Shazamm!!

Tron 2 is full steam ahead though with actor Garrett Hedlund is being cast as the lead in the highly anticipated sequel. Hedlund landed the role over other more notable actors like Ryan Gosling, Chris Pine, and Cloverfield's Michael Stahl-David. Word has it that Olivia Wilde from House and the O.C. has also been cast. Additionally, the Hollywood Reporter is claiming that the title is now officially just Tron, without any numbers.

MICKEY ROURKE has joined the cast of SYLVESTER STALLONE'S upcoming action flick, "The Expendables". It's about a group of mercenaries on a mission to bring down a South American dictator. The cast now consists of Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Ultimate Fighting fighter Randy Couture. Rourke will play an arms dealer who hooks them up.


Worried that Transformers may have inspired a spate of gimmicky movies based on the toys of your youth that'll ruin your childhood nostalgia? Well brace yourself for movies based on the Magic 8-Ball, Barbie, Hot Wheels, He-Man and Monopoly. Apparently all of the movies will be done with something approaching integrity, according to Mattel's VP for entertainment and marketing.
