Yes, it’s Friday and we couldn’t be happier. Is it just me or does this weekend seem like a well-deserved weekend for us all? If you’re going to spend it in the malls, just make sure you obey your Christmas budget.
Picture this: JJ, Melanie and Mama Melanie are going to see Kenny Rogers in concert. I don’t know why this intrigues me, maybe it’s because of Melanie’s inner cowgirl or maybe it’s because of JJ's will to git-er-dun.

Update!!!
Thank You Toronto Sun Readers – for making JJ and Melanie the second best morning show in Toronto. We totally kicked 3’s @$$! JJ and Melanie couldn’t be happier and if it were possible the two of them would hug each and ever one of you. Note to the guys, Melanie loves to be picked up. Note to the ladies, JJ just likes to be touched.
I’m having a board game party and “forgot” to invite JJ and Melanie. Someone called and suggested that I didn’t want JJ and Melanie to steal my thunder. I have thunder?

Update!!!
People say no to smoking, no to crossing on a green light…let’s say NO to plastic bags. They serve ZERO purpose, and if you use your cat’s litter as an excuse you should know they make special bags for that. Anyhow, corporations are now charging a nickel for plastic bags in efforts to promote more environmentally safe options. WASTE of time or not?
What do your sex dreams mean? Well you could assume many things…and if you’re JJ, roasted nuts don’t necessarily mean you’re guaranteed a rendezvous with Angelina Jolie…or whoever tickles your fancy.

Update!!!

Colai-colai-colaiacav-what? Everyone had a rough time saying that dude’s name this morning! But it’s okay if you can’t say it Melissa, the Leafs traded Carlo Colaiacovo anyways. And you’re not alone JJ couldn’t say it either and while Melanie could, she did have some trouble deciding whether it was Ted Nu-gut, Nugget, Nu-whatever that Meghan Fox thinks she looks like. Pshh okay girl!
Ahh!! The secrets behind the scenes as an intern on “JJ and Melanie in the Morning” Show! Well what’s no secret ‘round here is that if JJ could spend the holidays with any celebrity it would be none other than William Shatner. I wouldn’t mind spending it with my boy Pharrell or even LL Cool J.

Meet Tommi
Tommi A127752 - Tommi came to the THS in March 2008 as a kitten and has grown into a big handsome fellow. He has suffered adversities in his life, but has maintained a sweet nature and positive spirit throughout. His impaired vision and deafness are likely congenital but he manages well, and is a normal healthy cat otherwise.
His right eye was removed at 7 months old, and had surgery on the left one a few months later. His vision is like looking through thick sunglasses. He requires eye drops daily, and checkups at a specialist twice a year to monitor progress.
Looking past his disability one will see a loving, kitten-like, beautiful fellow. He loves being held, and cuddles with people or with other cats. He is very used to his eye drops, which are applied easily if he is cradled like a baby. When cuddled close, he licks ones hair, and may give a little love bite on the chin. Young cats like his playful love bites, but old ones usually don't!
Tommi manages his food, litter and grooming without any problems, and easily determines which chair is the cats' favourite, to use it too. He's playful, and really likes a ball within a ring. He vigorously uses a carpet post for scratching. Because of his deafness, his meow is loud, but calls out only when he is lost or feels alone. He needs a bit of light to see, but a night light or open drapes at night are sufficient.
Tommi is a sociable fellow who would like a home with a pet pal who will not mind his awkwardness and loud meows, and an owner who will cuddle him occasionally. His eye drops are important to maintain his vision, and will be required for his lifetime. Anyone who will can accept this inconvenience and increased vet visits will be rewarded with a loving companion.

Melanie's Christmas Fudge
1 Pack Chocolate Chips
1 Pack Butterscotch Chips
14 Ounces Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 Can)
tsp Pure Vanilla
(Pecans, M&M's, Smarties...whatever you would like to add)
Butter a round pan (use the cake pans with the hole in the middle to shape it like a wreath)
Melt on low...chocolate chips, butterscotch, milk, and vanilla on low in saucepan
Stir in pecans, M&M's, coconut, or whatever you would like here
Pour into pan...it will be chunky and very thick
Shape to the pan
Refrigerate
(Once it has hardened...flip the fudge out onto plate and it will look like a wreath. Add some icing sugar and whatever for decorations...top it with more M&M's, sprinkles...whatever you like!!)

Monday Monday…never a good day for me. That is why I have asked our new intern to post a message on our blog this morning. Here goes:
Hey, what’s up everybody?! I’m the new intern Jeunesse otherwise known as ‘My Yute’ round here. Today was a great start to the week after the “American Music Awards” last night. Chris Brown was the big winner of the night, going home with three awards, including artist of the year. Go CB! His girl Rih-Rih didn’t go home empty-handed herself, she scored two awards herself after performing her new song, ‘Rehab’-love that tune! And Kanye West never ceases to amaze. He came in close behind Brown with two wins. In his acceptance speech he said he wants to be like, Elvis…hmmm, hopefully music wise and not health wise!
And what better way for me to get to know JJ and Melanie than to talk about ‘What Men Hate About their Bodies’?! Surprisingly there is a long list of attributes you men are feeling insecure about. Beer guts, man boobies, and what Melanie thought their biggest insecurity would be: manhood…JJ himself has issues with his one frowning nipple? Nice to know! Great to meet you guys!

JJ and Melanie were Dirty today…dirty like a deed done dirt-cheap.
This morning we asked you to dish out your dirty laundry and dished out you did. From the lady who fed her husband malox to the cheaters and haters. Now that your dirt has been dished…it’s time for a fresh start.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…come on, for the first snowfall it wasn’t all that bad. In fact, dare I say it looked beautiful? Sure it did…now go buy me a Christmas gift.

Today’s show was wiggity wiggity wack…not really, I just like saying wiggity wiggity wack.
Other than having tons of prizes and endless laughter – JJ and Melanie rang true with a throwback to a cartoon that made us look at toasters a different way and what near-shamed the Star Wars Franchise with ‘Star Wars The Holiday Special.’ Once upon a time that movie existed…but no more.
Young drivers beware…a new legislation may mean the following:
· Zero alcohol consumption
· Not more than one teenage passenger
· Zero tolerance for speeding
Yikes, I’m actually glad I’m in my late 20’s. Agree? Disagree?

They’re Baaack…JJ and Melanie made their triumphant return after a 1 week vacation. Here’s what they did on their vacay: Took a tooth out, got a tooth filled, slept, played video games and saw the new James Bond flick.
You know the holiday season has arrived when Starbucks issues their annual Holiday menu. Shouts out to them for stopping by and giving us what seemed to be bottomless lattes, festive treats and napkins.
