Almost two thirds of the Canadians polled by Acrobat Research
said they plan to register their phone numbers for the federal
do-not-call-list to ward off telemarketers. The list comes into effect tomorrow. After a phone number is listed on the no-call registry,
telemarketers who dial it will face a hefty fine.
