Rain Rain Go Away…DO NOT come back another day. It’s official, worst summer of 2008.
But here’s a solution to make your day brighter…by waking up to JJ and Melanie in the morning. You’ll get an equal dose of laughter, information and fun.
This morning we discussed the methods to being a great kisser. Next time you’re in the midst of “tonsil hockey” try licking the other person’s lips or massaging their neck. Don’t chock…massage.
Melanie’s off to the Canadian Open today where she will stalk each and every golfer until they add her to their facebook.

After days of vacation time JJ and Melanie returned to the morning show…together…and you know what, they missed each other…a lot.
During JJ’s time off he purchased a shiny green wallet, and it brings out the…woman in him. Personally I like it, but most women would agree it repels them. Good thing JJ is a married man.
It was a busy morning with Estelle stopping by and giving away tickets to this weeks MLS All Star game, and we found out that even she has Sexy-Becks fever. (David Beckham)

I just learned a new term which I thought I'd share today. It's GASTROSEXUAL, and it refers to man who uses his cooking skills . . . to get women naked.
So that begs the question . . . which specific dishes are most likely to increase MY chances of nailing as many women as possible?

It was a morning filled with revelations. Newbie is into Velcro, Boogie is into Top Gun and Melanie is into herself…I’m going to get I trouble for that one.
The truth is, would you be ok with your girlfriend/boyfriend worked with their ex? It’s tough to say, trust can go a long way, if it exists in your relationship.
Tomorrow we see the return of JJ! I’m sure he’ll have a lot to tell us about his 4-day-rendevous.

It was a morning without JJ and Melanie…instead it was the Boogie, Newbie, Ruby show where the only rules was that there are no rules.
Boogie brought up the topic: Do you look at your girlfriends mothers bum bum to hopefully see what you can expect to come home to in 20 years? Follow me so far? Ruby cut in with Dad’s having moobs (Man-Boobs) so what out ladies.
After that we basically just hung around, occasionally talked on the mics and played a game of scrabble. FYI…Boogie cheats.

Dark Knight is an epic, a masterpiece, the best superhero ever made…this all according to JJ. JJ was lucky enough to catch an early screening of The Dark Knight and made everyone’s hearts pitter-patter with his review. Dark Knight hits theatres tomorrow (July 18) but you already knew that.
Men, Melanie stresses…if you don’t show your love the appreciation they deserve at home, BE cautious. A listener wrote in and praised her massage therapist’s ability to make her feel good, while her beau does not.
Well, it was another edition of Code Wars and what we learned today is that Newbie is best to be laughed at and not with. JJ and Melanie were harsh, but they mean it in a good way.

It began with Melanie’s bagel with cream cheese and JJ’s “dipping doughnut,” following that was one stellar morning show.
Rules are what makes the world go ‘round, and both JJ and Melanie agreed that they live by the rules of their better halves. OK, well Melanie didn’t admit to that...but she does have rules…her own. Her rule for me (Newbie) is to bow to her in the morning, and JJ must compliment her every 15 minutes.
JJ is off to see The Dark Knight tonight, while Newbie has to wait until Friday. Tune in for the most honest review of the biggest film of the year.

Toronto vs. Montreal…the greatest rival ever formed…and no, we’re not talking about Hockey. We’re talking about Toronto Girls vs. Montreal Girls. You voiced your opinion and it’s clear that EVERYONE agrees…Montreal women may be hotter? Not even the T-dot represented this morning. Does this mean I have to move to Quebec and live off poutine?
According to some statistic, if you eat a less amount of food per day you tend to be happier. If you eat too much you tend to be unhappy. Judging from experience…I sit across from Melanie and when her tummy isn’t full…you better watch out!!! And when she’s full…you still better watch out!!!

Good Monday morning…and with that we were Melanie-less today. Newbie somewhat filled in, but he not nearly as pretty or intelligent. It’s ok, he agrees.
Move over ‘The View’ we had our own batch of hot topics this morning. We found out that most Mom’s would love to attend their daughter’s bachelorette parties…alcohol and strippers included.
Hey, if you could vacation with anyone who would it be? Newbie chose Tom Cruise, JJ chose Matthew McConaughey and Ruby drooled for Matt Damon. Is Newbie planning on vacation in planet Zopticon?
OK, tomorrow is a new day, in fact it’s the only day of the week that has no substance. I mean…who cares about Tuesday?

Who were the hardest and most busiest (that’s right) people this morning. Two names: JJ and MELANIE! You see, while everyone else “takes it easy” JJ and Melanie in the Morning manage to pull off one of their best shows yet.
We had exclusive Interviews from The Tumbler (Dark Knight), Tiger (ala JJ) Woods and…well…that’s it. In a nutshell Tiger let out some gas, and The Tumbler proved to be quite the diva.
The weekend is here, and we are off to the cottage…well Melanie is.

This morning we heard JJ and Melanie sing to Kenny Rogers ‘The Gambler’…but hey stranger things have happened. Apparently they didn’t know when to fold em’…Zaggazing!!!
What’s the worst job you ever had? To no one’s surprise it was Telemarketing. Did you know Melanie once worked at a photo lab and JJ unwrapped faulty Nanaimo bars? Did you also know that I had to google Nanaimo to get the correct spelling?
Special guest Jon Chu, director Step Up 2: The Streets joined us in the studio this morning. The special “Dance-Off” edition is available July 15th on DVD and Blu Ray.

Thunder, lightning, the way you move me is frightening!!!
That’s right, it was the calm after the storm…JJ and Melanie managed to stay dry and funny this morning. For example, we now know the tope 5 sexiest albums of all time. No, JJ’s rendition of “No Air” was not on the list.
Melanie is a fan of golf, like peanut is a fan of butter. It was a morning of golf related issues…so in a sense Melanie was on cloud #9. How do you begin a morning filled with humidity and smog? You strip down to your bare nothin’s and engage in an ice cube fight…both of which did not happen in the studio this morning.
JJ and Melanie began the show with JJ admitting that he misses Melanie Monday mornings. Truth is, I think she misses him too. The only way to wake up in the morning is to the JJ and Melanie morning show! OK, enough self-promotion…I’m done now.
The topic at hand is that Melanie may be going through what she thinks is a “dirty 30’s crisis” and she’s embracing it. New tattoos, road trips, shopping sprees…what’s next and is there something wrong with her?
One last thing…this past weekend I learned not to cut the wedding cake before the bride and groom. But it was cake, and it was filled with sweetness…

It’s Monday, the beginning of a full work week…one that was tough to get into considering we just came off a 3-day work week. We were Melanie-less this morning, and JJ took the bull by its’ horns. Behind the bull was of course myself and Ruby.

Oh me oh my, Friday has arrived.
Today JJ and Melanie went back to life…back to reality…ok, well that was their choice for ‘Diggin’ in the Crates’ I just love it so much I can’t stop singing.
JJ & Newbie revealed their love for Jon and Kate + 8. Watch the show, it’s reality TV at its best…x 8.
In honor of our brothers and sisters to the South, JJ and Melanie had a hot dog eating contest. With 8 hot dogs cooked, only one was digested…good job Melanie…and happy 4th of July. (JJ is still gagging)

Melanie made her return to the morning show after a long, and well-deserved weekend. With that came her SMASHING Code Wars victory, putting JJ to shame. I’m not exaggerating folks, she clobbered him today with what seemed to be the easiest win in Code Wars history.
In case you don’t know by now, Newbie bruises like a peach…and he cries at the sight of kittens playing with a ball of yarn. If you scroll down and click on “Christian the Lion” you may very well experience a watery sensation in your eyes…if not, you’re as cold as ice.
Even though it’s been a 3-day work week for most, it seems like 5…here Saturday, come here boy…

Melanie had the day off…enjoying the hot summer fun no doubt. JJ on the other hand was up at the crack of dawn to host the JJ and Melanie morning show…with help from Newbie and Ruby.
OK so here’s the truth, we were still no vacation time so instead of the show being 110% awesome, it was just at 109% today. Cujo is back, your chance to win a trip to Barbados continues and Angelina is on the verge of having twins.
Two more days left in the week…thank goodness. So far, the weather looks good…but as you know it’s always subject to change.
